Coming up on Sunday 19th July 2015!!! We’ll be banging some lush street food outside Cult, the weather is bound to be amazing!
Classic and modern cars, motorbikes, buses, bikes, fire engines and trucks will line up on the Waterfront this summer as thousands of visitors are expected arrive to the first Ipswich Wheels.
The free transport festival is all about wheels through the ages and will include everything from radio-controlled cars to buses from the present day as well as historic vehicles from the Ipswich Transport Museum.
Special features are “Women on Wheels” and advice for younger cyclists.
Organiser Ipswich Borough Council says this is not just for petrol heads but also for people who want to take up a new sport or find out more about the history of transport.
Lining up for the Ipswich Wheels launch on the Waterfront were representatives from Donalds Volvo & Mazda, John Banks Honda, British Radio Car Association, Lancaster Toyota, Lings Triumph Motorbikes, Elmy Cycles, Gallagher Car and Van Rental, Ipswich Buses, First Bus, Ipswich Transport Museum and Orwell Motorcycles.
That’s a lot of wheels!
